CAMP Loves: Las Vegas

We find ourselves in Las Vegas for work every so often and while it is not one of our favorite destinations, there are some spots that are worth seeing. So the next time you find yourself in Sin City, make sure you take the trip to at least one of the following places.

TO EAT

BORDER GRILL – Between the Mandalay Bay Hotel and the Mandalay Bay Convention Center is this delicious mexican food restaurant. It would be hard to find something bad on the menu but we recommend the tacos.
THE HENRY – Located in the Cosmopolitan, The Henry has a classic feel and delicious food. The truffle tater tots are to die for.

TO DRINK

FOUNDATION ROOM – The top floor of the Mandalay Bay holds a spectacular view of the strip and is a great place to grab a drink and hang out.
THE GRIFFIN – By far one of our favorite finds, is in the Fremont East district and doesn’t even feel like Vegas. Plush seats surround fireplaces throughout the bar and the lantern-lit ambiance of the room has the feel of your favorite LA bar.
ELLIS ISLAND – Tucked away behind the strip is Ellis Island–a casino and brewery. We once bought a round of drinks for 4 people and it was under $10…including tip. If you like divey, this is the place to go.

TO SEE

COSMOPOLITAN – This is Vegas done right. It’s over the top but still maintains its class. The Chandelier Bar, the Droog store, and the Hotel Lobby are all awe-inspiring.
BELLAGIO FOUNTAINS – Remember the end of Oceans 11? This place is a fun Vegas icon.
NEON MUSEUM – Who doesn’t love old light up signs? You can check out a bunch of retired Vegas signs at the Neon Museum.
