Awhile ago we did some mini-branding for our friend, Eric Trine’s side tables. They are quite accurately called Little Dudes.
To match the spirit of the tables, we created a brand mark that was simple, fun and iconic. Each Little Dude was imprinted with the logo underneath and then individually numbered.
While digging through old projects we came across this little beauty…she holds a very special place in our hearts.
(Built from recycled record players and housed in reclaimed wood.)
We’re headed to ICFF this weekend…looking forward to seeing lots of awesome work. (May also stop by NSS & C&LA while we’re in the neighborhood)

Pier Table
Created for the Pier Shop & Visitor Center in Santa Monica.
Inspired by, you guessed it, the pier.
Some of the best moments of design are found in the details. One of the really great details of the Pier Shop were the custom plywood hangers we designed for them.
Yes, they could’ve used normal hangers. They could have even spent a little more money and had their logo printed onto stock hangers. But by rethinking the seemingly insignificant detail of hangers, the shopping experience is instantly elevated.
It’s in the small touches, like a logo etched into a plywood hanger, that a brand really comes to life.

We recently wrapped up the design and build out of the new Pier Shop & Visitor Center in the Carousel Building on the Santa Monica Pier. The store is not open just yet, but stay tuned to their website for opening info.
